We had a tremendous showing of support for our Cuidando los Ninos  donation drive. This is the homeless day care where Emily volunteered after high school.Emily’s Uncle Mark even flew in from California to surprise us!

Thank you to everyone that participated. She would be so proud of all of us.

Paul and I dropped off the donations on May 2, 2007. It was a full car and trunk load of diapers, toys, clothes, food, books,pots and pans, glasses, bath and body products , baby care products, gift cards and checks. They were very pleased.Thanks again to everyone.

We are honored to accept a 2007 Volunteer Award for Emily from the Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights.This was for her work with the Sankhu-Palubari Community School in Nepal.

Minnesota Advocates also honored Emily with an article in their April, 2007 newsletter.

The Sandall family will  be having a memorial tree planted in Greenough Park in Missoula, Montana, to honor Emily this spring. It will be a Ponderosa Pine.There will also be a plaque with her name on it.She used to run in the park and also spent time there when her mom and sister visited.We wanted something special for her wonderful community in Missoula to be able to visit.More details will be coming later.
