The Emily Sandall Foundation is proud to make a donation to  Shine a Light and the Pibe Quijote Project run by Kurt Shaw.Kurt helped Emily find her volunteer placement at the Irapuato shelter in Mexico. He also met her when she drove up to Santa Fe to Shine a Light.
The Pibe Quijote Project teaches ex-child soldiers how to use art forms such as theater and directing to think through and overcome their experiences and to teach others about them.
Emily would have loved a project such as this!

As we near the one year anniversary, I thought of an idea that might help make it easier.Let’s  all try to do a good deed that day or around that day. If everyone can then send their stories to me I will compile them anonymously and send them back around to everyone. Wouldn’t she love that?
