"One of the new projects we have been experimenting with this year is "Creative Solutions. " We are supporting people with mini grants so they can apply things they have learned through Qachuu Aloom over the years in their own homes and villages. For example, Aurelia who works with our maternal health and nutrition project has learned so much about medicinal plants through her work at Qachuu Aloom and was really drawn to that aspect of her work on a personal level. So, she decided to open her own Apothecary in her house for her village to access the medicines she makes. We did about 6 of these as a pilot project and they all went really well."
