Jane Ferguson Wilderness Adventures Donation

To honor Emily in the 20th year of her Foundation we donated 10 scholarships to the Jane Ferguson Wilderness Adventures in Red Lodge Montana for area youth to attend the wilderness trips. They provide wilderness trips with area youth with the chance to build lifelong relationships to nature through adventure, science education, team building and personal discovery. Some of her beloved Outward Bound colleagues are part of this organization.

From the former program director, Travis Burdick, who was a friend and fellow Outward Bound instructor: "Emily was one of my favorite people at Outward Bound. I loved dance parties with her and going on runs and talking about big beautiful things in life."

Isn’t this a great way to guarantee wilderness stewardship for the future? I know Emily would be very excited about this.
